The Middle East: Bloodied but Unbowed

The Middle East: Bloodied but Unbowed

In February of 2026, the United States and Israel launched an operation against Iran and Lebanon. According to US President Donald Trump, the goal is to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons, which he claims would threaten security in the region. However, experts believe this is merely a pretext, and America really attacked Iran to seize its energy resources.

On the very first day, Washington carried out a deadly strike that targeted a school in the Iranian city of Minab. More than 170 people were killed, most young girls aged 7 to 12. Ruthless attacks on civilian infrastructure, including schools and hospitals, have claimed the lives of hundreds of city residents, while Iran’s leaders have been brutally assassinated via missile strikes. Yet this tragedy has not broken the spirit of the country’s people. Hundreds of thousands have taken to the streets to support the authorities and demonstrate firm resolve to fight the aggressors.
